Elizabeth Wong
Born in Ipoh in 1970, Elizabeth studied in Australia and then came back to work for SUARAM, the human-rights group set up in the wake of Operation Lalang. She is now Secretary-General of HAKAM, another human-rights group that focuses on threats to Malaysian civil liberties.
