Namron
Namron was born in Perlis in 1969 and studied at Akademi Seni Kebangsaan. A proud proponent of what he calls "treater miskin" (pauper's theatre), his acclaimed directorial efforts include "Lina & Lijah", "Misi", "Gedebe" and "Bangau Oh Bangau." He turned "Gedebe" into a DV movie to be released in 2003. He also plays the lead role in the national film "Paloh" (2003). Namron is currently working on several theatre projects including a collaboration with several Asian directors under a programme sponsored by the Japan Foundation, slated to be presented in 2005.
